Choose a small project you can test and sell

Your team may choose a suggested idea or create its own. You may build a digital product, a physical product, or a service.

THE TWO-HOUR PROTOTYPE RULE

Build a rough first version in two hours.

It can be a drawing, sample, mockup, service advertisement, landing page, WhatsApp catalog, or short demo. It only needs to be clear enough to show a possible customer.

A good bootcamp project

Solve a clear problem for a person you can reach.
Can be prototyped in two hours.
Can be tested with a customer this week.
Can be sold and delivered before Demo Day.
Can start with free tools and little or no money.

Two ways to find an idea

Choose an idea from the instructors, or bring a problem you have noticed yourself. Both are welcome.

Option 1
Use the project idea bank
Choose a suggested problem that your team understands and wants to solve.
Option 2
Bring your own idea
Start with a real problem you see at school, at home, online, or in your community.

Example projects

Create simple digital menus for local food sellers.

Make social media content for a small shop.

Sell custom study notes or practice questions.

Help a community group organize registrations.

Create a simple physical product and use AI for its design or promotion.

Build a small website or tool for a clear customer need.

Change an idea when evidence is weak
Change or stop an idea when customers do not have the problem, do not want the solution, or cannot be reached.
Do not stop only because it is difficult
A difficult task may need a smaller solution, a different tool, or help from your team.

Your final project must show
